Digging a hole!

Since one corner of the house was not level we needed to go down exactly 1m / 39 inches. We need to go down more because there is 3/4 minus base course (crushed gravel) under the concrete slab. Joe from Big Island Excavating (who did our septic also) managed to dig it out nicely in 3 hours. He was a little surprised because it went so fast. Lucky for us this was fill when we levelled our property. Here are some pics.
