Creating sandwich material...

Here we are making in large quantity materials for our sandwich which we will use on the TJI beams. Where the TJI beam rests on the large beam it needs to be re-inforced with two pieces of 5/8 inch material on both sides. This will allow us to attach a steel strap to it to give it more hold down power. The idea is that you won't have your roof blow off in a hurricane. I have looked at the historical paths of hurricane's and for over 100 years they have never really close enough to this particular island to do any damage. Meteorologists say it might not even be possible with such a large mountain range in the middle of the island as well.

Anyway, the process to do this cut is as follows. You setup your ponies. Lay down a piece of 5/8 plywood. Lay a piece of Styrofoam on top that you will sacrifice a little. You stack the plywood on top of the styrofoam. You setup the blade (in this case maximum cut) to take only a little piece of the styrofoam. And cut your pieces. Instantly you have 4 pieces instead of only one at a time.
