Finishing & more walls..

So we completed the bathroom walls finally. The process is very slow in some sections. The bathroom was such a section. We had curved walls, straight walls, walls with sloped roof's, etc. Anyhow, we have framed the section for our gerberit toilet and bidget. This is a special style of toilet with all its hardware inside the wall, allowing for easier cleaning and more space in your bathroom. You see these in europe often. Unfortunately I forgot take pictures of the final result.

After the bathroom we moved onto the front living room wall. This section we are working on has a huge 10 foot window (3 meter). It has a large beam on top and sturdy supports on both sides. One corner has the post fastened to the floor using a hilti screw and a steel bracket. Here it holds 5 pieces of 2x6 material. Two which go up to the roofline, and three holds the big beam. Tomorrow morning we will cut to size and place the large beam on top of the studs we built this afternoon. The weather was very nice all day today so thats always pleasant.

Testing the toilet for space to make sure it fits properly.

Our simpson product which holds our 5 pieces of 2x6 material.

Testing our beams for size. We glued and nailed them together.

Completed support. Screwed and glued.
