Rim board photos..

Here are some new pics of our rim board progress. Some people have asked what the rim board is. Its the edge board that runs around the house at the very top and covers the roof beams / rafters.

Tomorrow we will get our temporary permanent electrical galvanized pole in place also. The back of the house red rock will be covered with some base course, because large chunky "BBQ" style rock is annoying to say the least.

We sandwich with glue two pieces of 2x4 material so we have a good nailing surface from the outside. The sandwich has four nails and glue. The outside rim board gets six nails to hold it to the 2x4 material.
