So today we tried out our new Festool ferrous (steel) saw blade. The results were quite impressive. I called the company to ask what suggested speed they advise for the blade. They said speed 4 would be good, however speed 6 (maximum) would be acceptable as well. The important thing to remember they said was to not rush or force the blade. The first try at speed 4 didn't go so well, it tended to grab the material. When I tried again on speed 6, it produced a perfect cut.
We will be trimming our entire rear roof sections with this blade and saw.
