So my mother is painting the siding. Its a slow process. The boards are 12 ft x 5 inch's (3.65m x 12.7cm) in length. We have calculated we can complete 50 pieces per paint can. Since we have only 5 paint cans, I need to bring in more paint from the mainland. The local store sold out of the material in the colour we want, so I'm left to fend for myself. Here are some pictures of the process. The lumber is very nice and high quality Western Red Cedar.
Stacking our finished product in our rental home garage.
Our drying station, currently the living room of the house.
Our paint station with its sole worker hard at work.
Our worker (mom) produces one board every 10 minutes.
