Rigid foam insulation...

Today our rigid foam insulation arrived. The product is from HUNTER PANELS and you can read more about it here. It has excellent insulation values, and has a rating of R-6 after 15 years. This is equivalent to 30 inches / 76.2 cm of brick, at least according to the wikipedia table. We will use this on our roof and walls.

First load, which is only about 1/3 of what we ordered.

Our second load, we looked a little funny but had no issue with capacity. We drove at 100 km/h on the road with no issue.

All the foam stacked up in our rental home garage. It weighs about 587 lbs / 266 kg.

It has an insulting value of R-6 and is backed on both sides with special fibreglass style paper.
